Yes In the 1800's when life moved at a slower pace
and the town men would gather at the main st. barber shop
to talk about the base ball game and socialize, they would often
Join in song in the four part harmony that we call barber shop
harmony today.

3. Does the chapter do any thing other than sing?
Yes We have Kraft sessions each week at our meeting,
to learn music theory and how to read music. We have family
functions like pot luck dinners, picnics, fathers day breakfast
bake sales and rummage sales as well as other activities to
raise money for charities.

5. What do the wives do when dad is out singing?
WE encourage the wives to accompany their men to the
meetings if they wish, to form a women's auxiliary to support
our chorus. Actually we would be lost without the support of our wives,
they play a vital part in the success of our chorus and our shows.
